Most International Door industrial door assemblies can be upgraded with certain optional features. The following is a listing of some of these options. Please contact our sales department for additional items or with your specific requirements.

Breakaway Panel

A large area of the bottom panel can be custom fitted with a 3/8" thick heavy duty rubber panel. This area is designed to separate from the main bottom panel upon impact and swing out, thereby eliminating damage to the structural members. The panel is then easily reinserted into its retaining guides and the door is again ready for normal use.

Personnel Passage Doors (man doors)

Most larger IDI industrial doors can be modified to accept passage doors, frames and hardware. An electrical interlock is provided to prevent the main door from operating until the personnel door has been secured or latched.

Floating Panels

As an option to the loading dock door model, IDI floating panels are designed to accommodate the movements of dock leveler plates and to prevent damage to the door itself.
